The Ramblin Reck Belongs on Campus

We, the student body of the Georgia Institute of Technology along with other concerned citizens, share a love for our mascot, the Ramblin Reck. The Reck is our mascot and is the embodiment of everything the students here work for. She has led our football team out on the field for EVERY home game since 1961. She has been living on our campus through 49 years of rich Georgia Tech history. She has served six past Georgia Tech presidents and countless alumni flawlessly and to move her off campus would be doing both the Reck and our student body a huge disservice. Her home has always and should always be with her student body on the main campus. We implore you to keep it that way.
