on November 3rd The West game .net community manager Hellstromm banned permanently or temporally more then 50 most active players from World 1 who were organizing cash (drop, lottery) battle based on breach of his newly self-made rule:
Game Rules:
6) Pushing
Pushing refers to an exploitative use of ingame features to provide experience, cash, and/or items to other account(s). Specifically, a player may not participate in a prearranged duel, bounty, or market trade to provide and/or obtain inordinate amounts of experience points, items or ingame cash.
Situation was like this:
A person who organized the battle (Lokiju) put grey rags to the market for $4200, other players have bought these rags and expected Lokiju to get the money from the rags, exclude expenses of putting rags to market and initiating of the battle, bring money to the battle and die there so they could live and have a chance of finding these special items that only in fort battles could be found.
Buying and selling grey rags in community managers opinion was serious breach of rules for which players were banned permanently or temporary.
In discussions about this rule after it appeared community manager many times was asked by players of what accounts for Pushing for example selling Grey rags for $100 or $1000 would be pushing or not; or selling lump of dirt for $10000; or buying for example green bandanas for $200 five days in a row. No answer was given and discussions in game forum were locked. And now weve got permanent or temporary bans based on this loosely formulated rule, which are interpreted and players punished on .community managers whim.
We ask Innogames to step in this situation and help to solve it by removing bans given to players and changing Pushing rule in such a way that would be clear when breach of rules occur and players could not be punished on community manages whim.
