Tose Proeski was born in the city of Krusevo, Macedonia in 1981. His talent and his heartbreaking voice stole the hearths of all the Macedonians before he was 18. Soon, he became a huge star in every republic of former Yugoslavia. He represented FYR Macedonia at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest.This war-thorn country was united again through his music and his never-ending humanitarian work. He had selflessly organized more humanitarian concerts than any other star. Tose was awarded a Mother Theresa award as well. What strikes me the most about his character is not just his talent, his heart and his soul but also his family values and his respect for everyone and everything. Tose had everything he needed but only little things made him happy.
Unfortunately, one October morning, he lost his life in a car accident and left our hearts broken. He left us all lost and confused.
However, we are left with the best memories of him, his work and his accomplishments. Toses songs were very popular in the Balkans and his album in English is coming out on september. He had one last wish before he died, To be known for his incredible talent and his selfless humanitarian work.
Help us to pay a tribute to Tose Proeski during the semi-finals or final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade.
The world is being deprived of such a great talent and we owe it to the world.
