Traffic Calming on Carwood Circle

Carwood Circle, being a 100% residential street of approximately 110 families, with no access to anything but its residences, should have traffic speeds controlled accordingly.
Currently, by virtue of the City of Ottawa By-Laws, Carwood Circle, which has no posted speed limit, has a default speed limit of 50 km/h, one that is routinely exceeded by vehicular traffic. For a residential street, this is too high, causing unnecessary danger to pedestrians and children.
We, the residents of Carwood Circle, hereby let it be known that we would like the speed limit on Carwood Circle to be posted as 30 km/h, a speed in keeping with the quiet residential nature of our neighbourhood.
