We, the undersigned, believe that Valve should enable the display of a small GIF banner (/gfx/banner.gif) to be displayed during the download of custom content within a game using the Half-Life 1 or Source engine.
We believe that this will encourage the provision of free custom content hosting as, in exchange, the host will be able to display a small advert to the gamer whilst the content is being downloaded.
