After less than 4rth of all iranian lottery winners received their visas and among them so many wives that have to leave their husbands ,seems like america approves this way of treatment for iranian families..
This will cause so many negative in this world.Dv 2014 was not a fair competition for iranians.
It was against all of U.S claims and by the way, contrary to dv eligibility info
they have put all the real qualified people and those with great academic backgrounds to the administrative processing and grant visas to mostly high school diplomas, married women with their children and old retired people who are gonna bring the least positive to america!
And as for 7% visa limit for each country?by iranian visas just above 1500 from 3700 limit!(Needless to say from 6027 winners !)thats one forth of winners getting visas, comparing it with other countries percentages you see how unfair iranians were treated.
how is this logical to put +6000 people in a life consuming 24/7 affecting process and in amazingly long periods of clearance processes, while at the meantime spend their share of visas for other countries and finaly choose one 4rth of them as visa holders?? How is it an equal competition ? Even a correct one!?
Diversity visa and the congress must understand and bare this responsablity for causing so much stress and damage to hundreds of regular peaceful iranian families.by this false hope and empty winning.
It sounds better to exclude iran rather than put hundreds into long painful waitings in order to grant forth of them a visa!
And worst are those married women who are granted visa only to themselves ,and some with kids, now have to choose between leaving their beloved husbands to go to usa alone ,without any support ,or forgetting about their visas after this marathon and staying with their families. Which is neigther a humane offer nor the main purpose of dv existence and not by any means the definition of a lucky chance.
I am among those that now am living my days with deppression and wonder that how does america approve such things?.
I am just trying to understand this new life without some one who i cannot even imagine not seeing for even a day . Some one who would no longer be withme soon, and this shatters my entire life and leaves a hollow space within my heart.
There are so many iranians like us.
We never expected more than a fair equal competition and a 7%share of visas as others and a background check that doesnt take forever.
