The time has come to take a stand.
Amanda Bynes NOW!.com sees that the television series "Entertainment Tonight" has been promoting the new CBS series "Ghost Whisperer" perhaps a little too much. This week, today they talked about the series yet again in what has become a painfully chronic occurrence. On the other hand, "ET" has not talked about Amanda Bynes in nearly two and a half years.
CBS' money is talking too loud for our tastes.
We're gonna holla back.
There is no need for Amanda Bynes' fanbase to support any entity that wholesale ignores her and treats her like she died ten years ago. Therefore, we want all Amanda fans to pledge to STOP WATCHING ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT effective immediately. The relationship between the CBS owned and operated stations, all of whom lead into "Ghost Whisperer" with "ET", has become a little to incestuous for our tastes. Even when Amanda makes a big red carpet appearance -- hell, like the "Robots" premiere earlier this year -- "ET" does a huge shun job.
We, the undersigned, believe that "Entertainent Tonight" has become a little too enamored with "Ghost Whisperer" and needs to know that there are other shows -- and other actresses -- lighting up Friday night. ET's ignorance of Amanda Bynes has turned into outright hatred at the hands of Jennifer Love Hewitt and "Ghost Whisperer" and we will no longer support the series.
