Will and Gwen fans had waited over 2 years for the writers of "As the World Turns" to give their favorite couple a baby. After the long wait the fans dream finally came true in July 2007 when Gwen Munson found out she was pregnant with a baby that she never thought she would have. Willen Fans had longed this moment ever since Gwen was told in 2005 that she would most likely never get pregnant again. Finally their fans were getting a happy storyline for them. One that they had always wanted. That storyline was pulled out from under them on August 28th 2007 when Gwen miscarried her and Will's baby. Many fans were outraged by this as this was something that they had waited for a long time for. There has been so much grief in Will Munsons family that they never thought the writers would go there. Will lost his sister, his father, his niece, his nephew Johnny, and Gwens baby Billy the baby that he loved as his own. For Gwen this was the third baby she lost. She went months thinking Johnny was her own only to find out that her real baby died. Another slap in the face later came when we found out that Alison Stewart. Will's former crush would be donating one of her eggs which would be inseminated with Wills sperm. Again fans were outraged by this turn of events as we wanted Will and Gwen to have their own child. I am appalled that the writers killed off Willen's baby. The only way that the show can make it up to the viwers is by giving them another baby of their own. A baby that is biologicaly both of theirs. No other baby will do.
