West Virginians Against Power Line

We the undersigned protest the Trans-Allegheny Power Line (Case No. 07-058-E-CN) because of several different detrimental problems that it will bring to West Virginia.

First of all, West Virginia has been the site for rape of the region for outside interest too long, herbicides used to clear the right of way may affect gardens and under ground water supplies, the health of our families may be compromised, elderly people who live on farms that have been in the families for years may be asked to move, property values will deteriorate, electric bills will increase with no benefit to us which outweigh Allegheny Energys desire to satisfy the need for energy in other parts of the country. We like our quiet rural lifestyle and do not want the noisy transmission line in our neighborhood. The wild life, forest and other environmental problems will follow the course of this line being established in West Virginia.
We are asking you to intervene for the citizens of West Virginia.
