Westfield Chermside Paid Parking

Westfield Chermside are installing a paid parking system to prevent commuters from using their parking structure, even though they initially advertised it for that use.
Westfield Chermside is also charging employees of the retailers $3 per day and up to $20 per day if the staff parking area is full or they have to leave & return on the same day. This amounts to over $700 per year (approximately $1.1 Million over all, every year!!) for most employees with no way to recoup that cost.
We are petitioning Westfield, that employee parking should be free as public transport is not a viable option for many staff.
Please sign this petition if you agree & as much as it may hurt some of the retailers in the short term, please refrain from shopping at Westfield Chermside until this change occurs. Together we stand, divided we fall.
