There are many land fraud in Uttar Pradesh (India), there are so many land records in tehseel not updated, the people are purchasing the land after seeing the current records of seller in TEHSEEL, but after some time purchaser came to know that the record was wrong in tehseel and not up-to date, and third party came in picture with the old record/proof that he is the legal owner of the sold land. Third party filed a case in court with the buyer.
There is not standard, no checking before making the registry in Tehsil, just go and purchase stamp paper write property record, seller and buyer name and sleep. You will be shocked when third party knocks your door, blaming that he is the main owner of the land you purchased.
