Meanwhile, the Glendale Unified School District intends to quietly fire 105 teachers over the summer while increasing class size ratios to 30:1. How does firing 105 teachers support student achievement? Why is this necessary when the Board sits on a rainy day fund estimated at $36M and the Superintendent of Schools has given himself a raise to $300,000; PLUS intends to spend $3 million on new administrative parking lots.

Sign the petition to let Superintendent Escalante know that this is NOT ACCEPTABLE & you expect him to live up HIS mission statement.
