Wolfe Field Reconstruction

As members of the Elizabethtown College Community, we appreciate the College's plan to resurface Wolfe Field with a new artificial grass surface. However, it is our hope that the College will seriously consider going a step further in providing Wolfe Field with a stadium complex for our varsity athletic teams.

Currently, the facility is adequate for intramural and recreational play. However, with just a few amenities, Wolfe Field could be a very attractive Division III athletic facility.

Providing spectators with appropriate seating, rest rooms, and concessions would enhance the College's reputation. The addition of team locker rooms, press box, and game lights would give the College an athletic venue that the entire Elizabethtown College Community would be proud of. A stadium would also have a very positive effect on enrollment.

It is our hope that a way can be found to provide the upgrades necessary to make Wolfe Field an example of the College's commitment to excellence.
