INDIA is our country. The country that is considered to be THE MOST UNSAFE COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.

How proud are you now?

We are the citizens of India that demand justice and equality amongst all genders. Today we stand proud that our country recognizes a third gender, but is it really another way to degrade another set of people?

Women of this country are mothers, daughters, wives, sisters, aunts, etc. They play THE MOST IMPORTANT roles in the nation's development. Women weren't made to turn men on, to provide sex and sexual satisfaction. Women aren't your daily dose of sexual needs.

RESPECT! This is what women lack in this apparently modern country.

This is the 21st century. How many of you still believe that women are home bound? How many of you still think women are supposed to be "traditional"? FOOLS! Indian culture respects women. It was never said nor will be ever said that women are not equal citizens as men.

Tradition is important. So is culture. But if tradition and culture blind you to be a biased and illogical person, you are immoral no matter what religion, culture or tradition you follow.

Women are scared to live in this country. To dress how they feel comfortable, to speak how they feel degraded, to live how they feel HAPPY.

Today, we stand together to VOTE FOR CHANGE. To VOTE FOR JUSTICE. To VOTE FOR OUR RIGHTS.
