WWE Drug Testing

Dear Mr. Vincent McMahon,









In last 20 years there have been close to 80 + wrestlers that have died. Close to 35 of those have either been by suicide, or drug related causes. Either directly, or indirectly. I.E. Falling asleep at the wheel while under the influence, choking on vomit after an accidental overdose.




Mr. McMahon you are THE figurehead in this business. You came a long way from starting out as an in-ring announcer back in 1971. Along the way you bought your fathers business in 1982. Created what we know as Wrestlemania in 1985, and became the Mr. McMahon character we all loved to hate back in 1998.




We as wrestling fans are deeply saddened by the recent losses of Eddie Guerrero, Mike Awesome, Chris Benoit, Nancy Benoit, and others. We feel that all drug related caused deaths could have been prevented. We believe that it is NOT to late to start implementing firm drug standards and practices. Not just for the WWE, but for TNA, ROH, and all other independent wrestling promotions across North America.




We don't want to see the wrestling industry fall victim to another death. Regardless of the company. We want to see Steroids completely out of Professional Wrestling. We want to see a federal implication of strict drug testing on all of the athletes in the industry. Most of all, we want an honest solution to the problem that has plagued pro-wrestling for the last 20 years.




Mr. McMahon, YOU are the only one that can help implement this. You have the money, power and resources at your disposal to make this a possibility. We thank you for taking the time to read this and carefully consider our request.
