350 million in Aid

We believe that although the tragedy in Southern Asia is sad, but the 350 million dollars that are being committed to aid are too much for out country to spend at this point of time.
Our troops are being slaughtered daily in Iraq due to a lack of body armor and other protective gear.
We have our own poverty-stricken and homeless to deal with.
Our economy is not excellent now; we are in a quagmire with our national debt which now stands at about 7.5 trillion dollars (with 11 zeros) 7,500,000,000,000
We empathize with the suffering of the survivors of the tsunami, however, it is not appropriate for the President to promise 350 million dollars in aid when we have other important tasks.
It is inappropriate to fly the American Flag at half-staff when there is a disaster in Asia.
In conclusion, we believe that the 350 million dollars cold be used elsewhere, and that we do not have the obligation to give any one any money.
If an individual would like to donate, that is admirable, but it is not the task of the government to throw away hard earned taxpayer dollars for its political agenda.

We want Congress to rescind the 350 million dollars to somehting below 50 million, and also stop flying our flag at half-staff
