Commuters who reside in Mississauga and work in North York, require better GO Transit service for daily commuting needs. Being financed by the Taxes of the Ontario residents this would trully help the lifes of many who have to Comute more then 100 Km daily to go to work.
With more people moving out of big city cores, there is greater demand for improved and reliable transit options. It is only sensible for GO Transit to extend a few stops along the 407 so that the citizens can benefit of its benefits.
Besides the convenience factor, it will get hundreds of cars off the road and help protect our environment.
I propose that the Managers at GO and the govenment officials provide a solution similar to the following,
A bus service providing connection between York University and Leslie Rd in North York around the Commerce Valley Dr. The Bus already goes to Oshawa and is just a matter of adding a few stops in the way.
I am willing to pay up to $240.00 Monthly for such a service if the stops would be offered from a to York University between 8 Am - 10:30 Am and 4Pm and 7 PM. Offcource the price would include the trip from Medowvale Town Centre to York University via the 407 GO BUS Service that costs now $105.00 monthly.
