Jason Wade, frontman of the band Lifehouse, is a great singer as well as an avid sports fan. He and his band have performed at various sport events. He has sung the National Anthem at some events as well. I have seen him sing live with his band and he truly is a talented and naturally-gifted singer. His rendition of the National Anthem deserves to be heard by a wider national and world audience during an internationally televised event such as the 2009 NBA Finals. I submit this petition requesting that Jason Wade sing the National Anthem at the 2009 NBA Finals this June. I hope fans of this band and sports fan and Star-Spangled Banner fans will join me in supporting this petition.
