Add Stand-Alone Feature to Stagecast Creator

Stagecast Creator is undeniably an incredible tool that allows students to develop problem solving skills, and aspiring game developers to unleash their creativity. Creators simplicity, flexibility, and power are unrivaled by similar products. Though the Stagecast Community is extremely grateful to you for providing us with this amazing piece of software, there is one feature that we would like to have added. We would greatly appreciate it if Stagecast would upgrade Creator so that Creator simulations could be exported as stand-alone programs.

Stagecast Creator has enabled many of us to realize our dreams, and make our own video games. However, in order to play these games people need Stagecast Player installed on their computers. This fact deters many people from playing our games, as the extra download can be an inconvenience. It often seems like the only people that end up playing Stagecast games are Stagecast users. It can be quite discouraging for a game developer to know that his or her audience has been limited so much.

Additionally, the inability to create stand-alone games dissuades potential customers from purchasing Stagecast Creator. The ability to create stand-alone games is a highly desired feature in game development programs like Creator. It has become standard in Click Teams programs as well as in freeware products like Game Maker. This places Stagecast at a distinct disadvantage in attracting aspiring game developers. There is no telling how much more prominent Stagecast Creator would be as a game development tool if it was able to create stand-alone simulations.

It is in the opinion of the Stagecast Community and potential Stagecast customers that the addition of this single feature would make Stagecast Creator the undisputed greatest game creation program. We have great confidence that such a feature can be added since Creators predecessor, Cocoa, was able to create stand-alone games. We do realize that Creator is more complicated than Cocoa, and understand that adding such a feature would require a great deal of resources and time. However, we will patiently wait for as long as it takes for such a feature to be developed. We also understand that such a significant upgrade could carry a substantial price increase with it. We greatly appreciate you listening to your customers, and considering the addition of a stand-alone feature to Stagecast Creator.
