Age Waiver Request: United States Marine Corps

This is a petition addressed to the Commandant of the United States Marine Corps, respectfully asking that an AGE WAIVER be granted to the undersigned, Matthew Hiller.

Last year I (Matthew Hiller) processed to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. I have passed the ASVAB aptitude test with a score of 96, completed the medical section (physical) and am cleared by the Chief Medical Officer of the Houston MEPS. (Military Entrance Processing Service)
I have also completed and passed the PFT (Physical Fitness Test) for the Marine Corps and obtained scores better than passing.

The only obstacle to my enlistment is an age waiver. This is needed because I am 35 years of age and the cut off without an age waiver is age 30.

I have the endorsement of one General(USMC) and one Colonel(USMC). I also have the recommendations of several senior enlisted NCO's currently serving in the Marine Corps.

I am physically and mentally qualified and meet or exceed the standards to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. Age is the only factor barring enlistment. It is my fervent desire to serve our country by enlisting in the Marine Corps and I have created this petition in the hopes of gathering some support to accomplish this endeavor. It is my hope and prayer that this may in some way move those that are able to grant an age waiver. I have made every possible effort over the past year and have no desire greater than to serve in the Marine Corps.
