Some of you may know Kody Hurst, while others may not. He is a serious student that only cares for his future education. Although transferring from Champlain College after the first semester, he realized his mistake and is now re-enrolled as a sophomore at Champlain. The school, however, will not let us (Jeff Ferro, Chris Richards, Andrew Ascone) request Kody to live with us at Spinner Place next semester. WE find this rule to be incredibly unfair and unreasonable. We are ALL requesting that he live with us, but the school's Residential Life department is being very stubborn. He is paying the same amount as the rest of us, so why should he be completely locked out of the priority system? The simple answer is that he should not be. Frankly, I am paying Champlain College $40,000 a year to attend their institution, and I have been nickel and dimed here and there for ridiculous charges. We deserve to make the request to have him as a roommate, and we deserve to GET him as a roommate. Please sign this petition if you think that a simple request such as Kody's should be allowed. It is the right thing to do. Thank you for your participation.
