Allow Uniforms at Pride!

We the undersigned request that Any uniformed members of Canada's military or Police services, serving or retired, be eligible to wear Issued Uniforms while marching in the Edmonton Pride Parade. This is in response to the protests at the 2018 Parade on June 9th. While we strongly agree with Points 2 to 4 of issues brought forth on that date, we cannot support the exclusion of our Queer Brothers and Sisters in Uniform. Too much progress has been made in LGBTQ rights to start maligning some of bravest soldiers and police (ie Out and in Uniform). we must remember, Pride Parades are both a protest of what needs to be fixed AND a Celebration of what we ACCOMPLISHED!
