America's Best Dance Crew Needs Randy Jackson's Intervention

This petition is to insist that Randy Jackson, The executive producer of America's Best Dance Crew intervene in the current elimination process as it has proven to be detrimental to the actual title of "Best", and no longer represents that term. If he proceeds with the show, it should be called America's "Favourite" Dance Crew as the flawed system which allows multiple votes at any computer leaves the results in the hands of idle viewers who may sit for the entire 2 hours that the voting system is open, voting for teams that have less than stellar skills compared to some who have been eliminated.

The demands are two fold, so either of the two sets of demands being met would be acceptable HOWEVER both should be implemented.

The first issue is with the voting system and the following should be implemented immediately (August 7th, 2008):

1. Anyone intending to vote via phone or text should only be allowed to vote ONCE based on their phone number. Private and unknown numbers should be blocked from voting, as to ensure no multiple votes.
2. Anyone intending to vote via internet should have to have an MTV account in order to limit their online vote to one, but they must first qualify to vote.
3. Anyone intending to vote via internet should be AT LEAST 18 years of age or older (The show is on at 10pm, so they should have a target audience that suits that demographic).

4. Anyone intending to vote via internet should have to pass a quiz on dancing, where the questions range from the name of dances, to dancers, to dance crazes, etc. to ensure said person has SOME knowledge of dance BEYOND just liking what they see.


The second demand relates to the top three crews not actually representing the BEST dance crews in America, and they should extend the show to actually go back to the top FOUR (4) crews, which TRULY should be:

1. Supa Cr3w
2. Fanny Pak
3. Supreme Soul
4. Asiid

All season there has been questionable voting by America (even the judges have pointed this out), which proves that although we live in a democracy, a lot of people lacking the ability to control emotion use their right to vote in an improper manner. By this I mean their votes are not based on knowing what quality dancing is, but they are just voting for the crews they can relate to the most. A lot of people RESENT people who ACTUALLY deserve to win, mostly out of jealousy and hatred because the best men/women were able to achieve what the others could not due to whatever it is they lack. Please Mr. Randy Jackson, this is definitely a year for change, and as much as the rules are what they are, there is obviously a problem with them and some intervention needs to be had immediately. Fix what we all know is America's misinterpretation of the 'BEST'.
