Dear President Bush,
The undersigned are petitioning you to change your policies concerning relations between the United States and Israel. In reference to the recent situation between the Government of Israel and the Palestinian Liberation Organization, America needs to stand with Israel against Yasser Arrafat.
Yasser Arrafat is a terrorist and should be arrested, tried, and held accountable for the terrorist attacks on Israel. In your own words Mr. President, "We do not negotiate with terrorists." and "The United States will not tolerate terrorism and will deal harshly with terrorists regardless of where they are."
Time after time you have made statements concerning Yasser Arrafat, that he should plead with his people to stop the terrorist attacks against Israel and seek a peaceful agreement. Mr. President, this statement contradicts your sworn policy against terrorists and terrorism. We urge you to fully stand behind Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and the state of Israel and offer them military, financial, and intelligence backing to aid in ridding the world of another thug and terrorist namely Yasser Arrafat.
