Anti-Eminem, Pro hip-hop

Lets take it back to the streets!

The reason I have included these interviews is to help build my case that eminem is whack and simply a fake rapper! Eminem is literally destroying hip-hop. He is taking it in the wrong direction. You can tell he is a fake when is first single was Hi my name is. Hi kids, do you like primus, do you want to see me stick 9 inch nails through each one of my eyelids, those are the first words of the song. This is pretty damn sad. This is the song that built his fan base. If a black dude did this song, he would get laughed off the stage. His other hit songs like Im back and The real slim shady are completely f***ed up. What they are is sh*t. Look how long it has taken a very credibly rapper, Fat Joe, to finally get recognition. He has been in the game for at like 10 years back when he did his solo project Jealous Ones Envy and then the Terror Squad record. His music along with the Terror Squad are 10 times better than Eminem, but Em walks in the game and is an instant success, just like Vanilla Ice. There are several examples of other rappers who write real shit but it wont sell because Eminem has f***ed up the game of hip-hop. Eminem has now made it so rappers have to do club songs or songs with a female (vice versa) to sell units. He has brainwashed fans not to buy credible hip-hop artists like Benzino. Its ironic that hip-hop derived from a struggle and now Eminem completely f***ed the game up so no one buys real hip-hop anymore. He is not from the hood, where hip-hop originated from, so he cant even do real hip-hop. He has got no credibility. Its like someone from the middle of Maine trying to say they are from the streets. It just doesnt work. Its like a person from the hood just walking into the country music seen singing about how they have lived on a farm and rode horses all their life. Obviously there are millions of so-called rap fans who dont know anything about hip-hop, because if they did they would know that Eminem is just a product that makes money. Even his mother said that all of the stuff he said about her is a lie. He dissed his mother to get attention, because without that, he would have nothing to rhyme about. We got a 30-year-old guy making fun of his mom to sell records. Thats disgraceful and pitiful! He also talks about his wife and kid on almost every song. People are getting tired of hearing that crap. How many songs can you do talking about your family? If he doesnt rhyme about his mother than he will make a whack song like Im Back, I would hesitate to call that hip-hop, its more like pop music. Eminem must really think he is tuff by dissing people like Moby, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, and Nsync. A lot of little 14 -year old boys and girls think he is tuff too, I guess, cause they are buying his music. The media makes him out to be a controversial rapper so people will buy his stuff, a white rapper dissin all these pop artists, real cool. That aint cool, Eminem is guilty of the same thing of the people who he is dissin. Selling out. When a credible artist like Benzino comes along and finally sticks up for hip-hop, all Eminems fans got to hate. Benzino is clearly a better rapper and his beats are better than Eminems. Benzino has been doing this stuff for years and has earned his respect. All you see on the TV about this battle is Eminems point of view and Eminem fans sticking up for him. MTV is the worst at this. They have several shows fully dedicated to Eminem. They do biographies of him and report about his new clothing line. How about doing a biography of Benzino, how about reporting about his new clothing line? The media is completely one-sided. How about going to the hood and randomly ask people if Eminem is destroying the game? I bet you would get some different answers than MTV fans have to offer. I am not dissin MTV I am just stating that they are definitely one-sided favoring Eminem. I am very pleased to know that Benzino is co-owner of The Source magazine. He can, does and should use this magazine to get his point across to the public. He has to use this magazine because MTV does not give him the time of day. It is a very important situation and I thank Benzino for sticking up for the rap industry.

By signing this petition you recognize that hip-hop is going down the wrong path. Eminem needs to be stopped before he ruins it any more. Dont be afraid to sign this petition if you feel the same way many people do. If I get thousands of signatures, I will send this petition all over the place trying to get the point across. Thank you for supporting hip-hop music. One way to stop Eminem is DONT BUY HIS RECORDS!!!!!

Eminems mom being interviewed

Have you and Marshall talked about your CD?
Marshall's not this tough guy, like he puts out there. It's all for show. I think once he did get with Dr. Dre and them ... He has been around a lot of different people and he carries guns, talked a lot of violence and did a lot of drugs and drinking. They say, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." I think Marshall wanted to act like he had been there and done that and the whole thing.

What about all that stuff about you doing drugs and his rough childhood? Is any of that true?
No. And that's what hurt me so much. He said to me, "Mom, black people do not believe that there are poor white people out there, that we have to struggle too and work. They think that we're born with a silver spoon in our mouth. And I have to say something. I can't just say, 'Well, I was overprotected by my mom. And my mom tried to give me everything.' Because they already think that. They already think that white people have everything."

Do you think he sacrificed you for his own success?
Yes, I do. But I don't think he really meant to make it as bad as it turned out to be. It just kept getting worse. Then he would hear that I was supposed to have said something to the media. Like I said, the media's been pretty cruel. And there's been somebody that's been talking to 'em -- I don't know who it is -- that has claimed to be me and has said all these different things about Marshall. And it's broken my heart.

Is there a particular message you'd like people to take away from your CD?
That I do love my son and I'm not a bad person and it's really difficult. The song, the letter "Dear Marshall," was written for him to basically let him know, "Yes, I do love you." I know he's going through a very stressful time in his life. He has been for two years and I know everything kinda hit him at once with his fame and all that ... The message from me is that I love him and I'm not this evil beast that has been portrayed by the media. Like he said, "Mom, it's been the media doing the most harm." I know that. The CD basically is to set the record straight.
The letter I read on it is very emotional. I've had people call here that said, "We never have been touched by anything in our life as we have this. And you can tell the emotion in your voice ... It lets everybody know how much you do love him, and that you guys have had a problem over the past couple of years and that he needs to make it right with you and that you'll always be his mother no matter what."
And at the end I say, "Will the real Marshall Mathers please stand up and take responsibility for his own life?" And then I sign it "Sincerely, with love, your only mother."

Benzino: "Yo I'm from da hood! I'm reppin for my people man!! I rep the block!! This is for hip hop!! Hip hop is da streets!!"

Angie: But why don't you have beef with any of the other artists who's selling like Nelly and Ja? Why Em?
Benzino: Cuz this cr@cka dont know nothing about the streets! I'm from the streets! I'm reppin for all my ghetto ni99az man! This cr@cka think he can come here and extort hip hop! Hip hop is the streets!

Angie: Is this cuz he's white? Why did you just use the word cr@cka'?
Benzino: Yo, forget you Angie!! He called me a woman and a ***** in that interview with you, and you let him get away with it, so I have the right to call him a cr@cka! Whats your problem?!

Angie: But alot of people dont, and you need to understand that!
Benzino: I do understand that. Bottom line is this white boy dont know nothing about the streets. And if he's listening, we can fight anywhere... Denmark, Alaska, Detroit. Set it up and I'll destroy you.
Angie: What about some people saying that you're dissing Em to boost your record sales?
Benzino: C'mon now, let me say this... ya boy Ben is financially set. I dont need to do this hip hop thing anymore. Angie, we both from the same label (Elektra). You know how I get down. True, I never sold any records, but it aint about rap to me. It's about connecting with the hood and the streets. I dont know nothing about fame and being arrogant. I'm with my people and the hood. People who know me knows that Benzino is the realest 22222 they know. This dude aint even from Detroit. Okay so he's from some trailor park, but he dont know nothing about the streets. He dont know how it feels about going outside and worrying that somebody might shoot you.

Angie: Have you ever listened to any of his albums Ben?
Benzino: Heeeell no. I dont listen to that trash. I listen to real hip hop.. Scarface, Jay, Nas, Mobb Deep. Thats street hip hop. This ****** dyed his hair blonde, took a bunch of blonde white kids at the VMA's and he's stealing hip hop. He even said that in his rhymes... 'i use black music to make myself wealthy heeey'. You didnt hear that ****? He's extortin us yo! I cant believe yall are gettin brainwashed like this!!

The Source: What do you think about the direction of hip-hop?
Benzino: Definitely a dangerous path cause while its going mainstream, hip-hops forgetting about the little guys, and thats real harmful. Thats why I talk about the machine and Eminem-the mainstream is dictating our creativity.

The Source: Define dictating our creativity.
Benzino: We have to do a certain type song to get played on the radio. Now that the powers that be have somebody whose skin color they can relate to, everything is fine. Nobody is sayin anything about Eminem or what he is rapping about. We get censored all the time when we talk about getting our asses beat by the police or other sorts of injustices.

The Source: What was your motivation for recording those diss records?
Benzino: He is the hood ornament on the big truck--you have to go at him. There are a lot of people in this world who buy hip-hop but they dont like us. They like the beats and rhymes but they dont like us. So now the Eminem machine has sucked all the sales away from every artist

Now that people have grabbed Eminem and put him on the wall, consumers dont need any other rappers.
