Any 93X listener knows that the man the 93X Half-Assed Morning Show affectionately calls, "The Assman," has the best rear-end in television news. Randy Shaver is the current Sports Director for KARE 11, A Gannett owned NBC affiliate, and a member of the 93X morning show.
Recently, the lead anchor for KARE 11, Paul Magers, announced his planned departure this fall when his current contract expires. Magers, who's 20+ year career as front man at KARE 11 has made him an institution in Minnesota, deserves a proper replacement. The 93X Half-Assed Morning Show wants to ensure this happens by encouraging you to lend your name to our write in campaign called "Assman for Anchor."
We, the undersigned, strongly believe that Randy Shaver is a natural fit behind the Anchor Desk. Please help us put the "Assman" in the big chair by lending your name to our petition, which will be delivered to KARE 11 on Tuesday September 2nd, 2003.
