We believe that ATM cards should have your language of preference encoded on the card itself. This would eliminate the need to "choose your language" each and every time you use an ATM machine.
ATM cards have all kinds of information already - your name, your account information, etc. Why not also have the language you will most often choose at the ATM? In a day and age where everything happens faster and faster, we have spent too many years telling the ATM which language we want to use. We believe this step is a useless waste of our valuable time and that an ATM system which eliminates this step would be more efficient and user-friendly.
We urge the makers of ATMs and the clients who purchase them to look into the streamlining of this process.
