B Schools must Consider Board Wise Percentage Credibility

Dear All,

Being an IIM aspirant, and wooed by Management principals, I wonder we talk about how academics are an integral part of selection process of esteemed IIM's and other reputed B-schools.

This create pretty division and biasing in today's world also. ICSE and CBSE canditates are Kings and  State Boards like UP Board, AMU board which are miser in adding percentage in student's degree are kinda inferiors.

The criterion for IIM A,B,C undermine the aspiration of even the academic topper of such boards.

First of all, that's unfair secondly that illlogical.

Considering the Mathematical Rule of Percentage, "There should always be a base".

Also, according to layman rule of competition, " There must be a benchmark"

Now benchmark is same, if the ideal conditions are same. But if conditions vary, and the benchmark should also.

Just using my example as reference, If at my time the AMU BOARD was top at 89%, should I drop my aspiration of being an IIMian.

Please consider, revising the academic credibility BOARD WISE. So that for different Boards, diffrerent benchmark is appreciated.
