To Portsmouth Fans,
This is a petition aimed mainly at Portsmouth fans who go to Fratton Park for the home games or follow Pompey up and down the country at away games.
Pompey fans are known world wide for their amazing support and passion, but in recent times the constant and irritating noise of 2 or 3 drums being hit constantly for the duration of the game has become too much for the rest of the Pompey faithful to take.
The drums do not help the atmosphere at all, they stop good old songs from being sung and also stop people from being able to start new ones.
Last season they were made to sit up the other end of the stadium in their own separate box, this much improved the atmosphere and feeling amongst the Fratton End regulars.
So if like me and many other fans you are fed up of the drums and want our GREAT atmosphere back then sign this petition.

The drums do not make a good atmosphere. They drown out any attempts at creating new songs and as a result of their existence over the past 15 years, it has seen us left with nothing but meaningless versions of other teams songs (without words) in our rep
