A ban on the importation of fur from domestic dog and cats has been in place since 2004 but the Government is refusing to extend it to other animals farmed in inhumane fur factories.
Fur is from all sorts of animals and is often coming here from cruel methods whether wild or raised in horrible farms they are being killed in horrific ways.
An estimated 2 million dogs and cats are killed for their fur in China each year, but many millions more rabbits, mink, foxes and other animals are also victims of this industry; many are even skinned alive.
No animal deserves to be skinned alive and left to die a slow and painful death.
We ,the people, demand the Australian Government extends current legislation regarding the importation of fur, to be inclusive of all animal fur, especially those furs imported from Asiatic countries.
