She may not be familiar to you at first but when one mentions Doogie Howser's mom in the hit TV series Doogie Howser M.D, baby-faced Belinda Montgomery springs to mind. She also played Caroline Crockett in the 80's hit series "Miami Vice" (as Don Johnson's wife) and Dr. Elizabeth Merrill in the classic "Man From Atlantis" (a 70's TV series where she co-starred opposite Patrick Duffy of Dallas). Not to mention her movies of the week and guest-appearances in so many other TV shows.
This petition is for Winnipeg born actress Belinda Montgomery to get her star on Canada's Walk of Fame.
My goal is to gather thousands of signatures. So I kindly ask all fans out there to join forces with me. She's a class act and one of the best moms TV has ever had. Time to celebrate this Canadian jewel who has graced our TV screens for almost four decades.
