We would like the city of Berkeley to take a good look at the Berkeley Peace Fountain proposal to determine if they agree with us that this proposal:
Beautifies the City
Expresses the Spirit of Berkeley
Will Inspire Charitable Giving
Maintains the Art Deco Motif
Demonstrates Green Technologies
Has Low Maintenance Costs
If the city then finds that they agree that this proposal would do these things better than past proposals then we ask the city to add the Berkeley Peace Fountain to the city plan.
Once it is a part of the city plan the Berkeley Peace Fountain Foundation would like to partner with the city to raise funds and help finalize the design.
Let us take this step together to begin expressing peace from the heart of Berkeley
