Every year thousands of Australians decide to travel overseas and through their tourism provide a substantial boost to the economies of many nations. Unfortunately for some reason these nations do not have the same laws and social values as Australia. In Indonesia, China, Vietnam, Thailand and the Phillipines drug trafficers face the death penalty. Furthermore over 80 nations worldwide retain the death penalty for some crimes including the United States, Japan, India and Jamaica. Also in the United Kingdom it is illegal to be a drunk in possession of a cow.
Most Australians will be very hesitant to visit these countries seeing as their lives and liberty may be at risk if they are found guilty under the laws of a sovereign nation. Therefore I propose a boycott of every country in the world until they undergo political and legal reform which reflects the values of all Australians. I also encourage all Australians who have donated or given any form of foreign aid to demand a refund unless this takes place.
