bring back Bertuzzi

Dear Mr. Colin Cambell

We the undersigned are petitioning Todd Bertuzzis open-ended suspension we are not saying he shouldnt have been suspended but are saying the length of his suspension is unreasonable. He should get the same punishment as those in the NHL who have previously acted in this manner (a punch from behind). He should be allowed to return after at least the first round of the playoffs if there is one for his team. Bertuzzi is not the only one at fault here the referees did not do there job in the game that night. And maybe if the NHL handled the Naslund Moore incident more responsibly like they should have with a suspension or at least a penalty this might never have escalated into what it did. Not in anyway saying what Bertuzzi did was ok. Maybe the NHL needs to look at how the game is being referred for one the instigator rule is obviously not working. Most Americans dont care for the game of hockey with or without fighting. It is really sad that the only time the NHL makes headlines across the boarder is when there is a tragic incident. Just because American news stations are finally paying attention to the NHL the Canucks, fans and hockey shouldnt have to suffer so you can set a good example. It is also unfair that the Canuck organization was fined and the Avalanche organization was not. Lets not forget there were two teams on the ice that night that let things get out of hand. Please consider our petition and please consider allowing Todd Bertuzzi to play in the playoffs.
