We the undersigned request that Four Square, Going for Gold, Masterteam, Telly Addicts and Turnabout be brought back on BBC-1 and Today's the Day be brought back on BBC-2.

Four Square with John Sachs, Going for Gold with Henry Kelly and Turnabout with Rob Curling were three excellent quiz shows all three of which had a format that worked and required intelligence at the same time. All three shows went out on BBC-1 on a daily basis (Monday-Friday) and I can't for the life of me understand why the BBC took them off during the daytime because they didn't lose their appeal or changed their formats or anything, all three shows still had the same format they started with when they took them off the air. The only explanation I can think of as to why the BBC took them off the air was to make way for something new. The only trouble is what they have replaced them with is utter garbage which is usually the case. Today's the Day with Martyn Lewis was another great show which had a format that worked and required intelligence at the same time. It went out on BBC-2 on a daily basis (Monday-Friday) and then all of a sudden disappeared and it should be brought back. Masterteam with Angela Rippon was another great quiz show regarded as the team version of Mastermind. It had a format that worked and required intelligence at the same time and was broadcast on BBC-1 on a daily basis (Monday-Friday) at 5.30pm but was dropped in favour of repeating the lunchtimes episode of the Australian soap Neighbours. At the time it paid off axing Masterteam and repeating Neighbours at 5.30pm but Neighbours has been passed its sell by date now for ten years and its time it was axed altogether. Telly Addicts with Noel Edmonds was another good show as well to start with that is. It went out on BBC-1 on a weekly basis - Monday nights at 8.00pm and the original format consisted of two teams of four sitting on a sofa answering general knowledge questions about television programmes which was great. Everything changed for the last two or three series though and instead of having two teams of four they had three couples or three pairings together of some sort, plus they changed the whole format of the show as well. Out went the sofas, and in came the stands which the contestants stood behind and we had to look inside a box to guess who the celebrity was and also climb a stupid stairway system. All these changes ruined the show and it lost its appeal with the viewers and was finally axed in 1998. Why people have to change things that are alright the way they are I don't know. I'm sure they do it on purpose. If Telly Addicts were to come back on television it would need to revert back to its original format for it to work again and get its appeal once more and this can be done using some common sense so have a think about this.
