We, the radio-listening public of Los Angeles and beyond, hereby petition radio station 570AM-KLAC, to bring back the Loose Cannon Radio Program.
With all respect to the management of said station, the new show does not capture the essence of Los Angeles sports the way the "Cannons" did. As Ted Green of the Los Angeles times noted in an article on January 21, 2009, the Loose Cannons were, "fun, funny, ridiculous AND sublime, and very often entertaining, canceled and canned without warning or notice, is a blow to Cannon fans, and they were many, who got their Lakers and local sports fix every weekday at noon."
It is our goal to have as many people sign this petition as possible so that KLAC will realize the error of their ways, and bring back the best part of Los Angeles sports-talk radio: The Loose Cannons.

I have lived all over the country (DC, Chicago, etc) and this was the easily the best "team" radio show. I travel weekly and getting to listen to the Cannon's was like coming home. It was the radio version of "Cheers" and provided a virtual home for sport

Not sure what is going on, but the program is not the same without Hartman, VTB and Mychal Thompson. I won't listen if the 3 aren't back.

The new show is not fun. Although its only been a couple of dsays.....myers and hartman don't click. VTB is barely even on....I can't believe they took away the only LA sports show....

I am actually from Sacramento and I listened to the Loose Cannons daily. It's a shame they are off the air.

It so true the saying...you never know what you have until its gone. The Loose Cannon show was unique and special and to have it cancelled without warning is traitorous to the devout listening audience.

As a longtime listener of AM 570 I couldn't be more dissapointed in the change in shows. I no longer live in the LA area but have been downloading nearly every loose cannons show for the last 2 years. but no more. I'm crushed
