The Zanesville High School auditorium, built in 1960 as an addition to the 4th ZHS, has been an instrumental part to the ZHS community, the Zanesville community, and the ZCS. The auditorium will be demolished later in the year, and the 5th ZHS will ONLY have a cafetorium to accommodate many classes, programs, and student groups. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. This school system needs to have a brand new facility, with state-of-the-art technology and accommodations for everything that it could be used for in this school system.
The old auditorium was an amazing addition to the high school. Let's prepare these kids in the new Zanesville High School with the proper tools they deserve.
This petition will be presented at a school board meeting soon along with supportive members of the community.

I have been a part of the orchestra program all the way through my schooling, and I know how amazing the auditorium was. I also know what a pain a cafetorium is, and how great an auditorium is. I'd much appreciate a new auditorium being built!

It seems such a waste to tearing down the old auditorium although i was not in the choir or theater, it was apart of ZHS and apart of me. When ZHS was built, it was considered state of the art. The new design seems contemporary and lacks the character of
