It has come to our attention that the writers at General Hospital seem determined to keep Carly and Sonny from openly communicating with one another, and, when they do manage to it seems that they're happiness never lasts. The writers seem to delight in tearing this wonderful couple down.
The things we would like to see happen are very simple, and are as follows:
1. We want Sonny and Carly to be togehter free of any and all misunderstandings. We would like them to admit all of how they truly feel (that they love one another)and be allowed to be happy together.
2. If and when this happens (certian uplifting spoilers indicate that this may happen soon) we want them to be allowed by the writers to stay together.
3. We acknowledge that Steve Burton is an excellent actor and if General hospital chooses to put him back on contract that is certianly understandable. However, we do not want that to interfere with Sonny and Carly's relationship.
Our reasons for wanting this are equally simple and are as follows:
1. Sarah Brown and Maurice Brenard have fantastic and un-deniable chemestry together.
2. Unlike Steve Burton, Maurice has expresses happiness at being able to work with Sarah.
3. Many viewers have invested a lot of time and emotion into the Carly and Sonny cause. It was what kept many viewers, both new ones and loyal ones, watching when the show as a whole was awful. It is time that those viewers got something back for their investment.
