Cheerleader everywhere work really hard to provide spirit and pride for their school. Lately my school St.Andrews has been acting unfairly to my cheerleading team and me. We have had practices cut, and our right to go to competion. We think that if we can get enough money through fundraiser that we should be able to particpate. We have worked extra hard on this and devoted 4 hours of our time everyday. Then we were told that Cheerleading was not a sport and that funds were needed for buying new weights. We understand this but we should have a chance to raise the money and to represt our school. Please help us in sopporting cheerleaders as athethes. I so totally agree! At our school, as in a lot of schools, when you are a junior or a seniot you can get out of PE if yo are in a sport. Just recently I found out that cheerleading isn't a sport because "it isn't hard enough". I think it's obvious they've
