Cinema Access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing

We the Deaf and Hard of Hearing people of Ireland urge Cinema's in Ireland to provide subtitles on cinema screens for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Ireland

Presently, UGC Cinema on Parnell Square, Dublin 1 provides 2 subtitled showings a week; Whilst we appreciate efforts made by UGC we feel that 2 showings a week is not enough.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing people are excluded from non-foreign movies in a move which discriminates against every Deaf and Hard of Hearing person in Ireland and we urge for there to be changes.

We want access to cinemas in Ireland.
