If Walmart or a big box type store moves to Powhatan it would gravely effect the smaller mom and pop shops and it may adversly effect some of the larger grocery stores in the county. The old Flatrock Supermarket building may be the new trend of landscape

Walmart is bad enough. What many Walmart supporters in the county don't realize is that it isn't just Walmart that you get. Just take a look at the upper end of Farmville and that is what you will have on route 60. There is never just a Walmart by itself.

Rt 60 Powhatan is starting to look like Rt 60 Richmond, where is the 'Planning Commission'. Don't we deserve a little better than this!!?
