Complaint Against Insufficient Internet Service Provision by Verizon Avenue

We, the customers of Verizon Avenue high-speed internet services, in Seaside and Monterey, California, specifically the military communities at La Mesa and Fort Ord, hereby jointly lodge a complaint of insufficient and unacceptable internet service provision. Being the only provider of high-speed internet services in these two military communities, Verizon Avenue has a special relationship with and responsibility to these communities to adequately service its customers by providing acceptable bandwidth and throughput rates, in accordance with the duly diligent payments that are made for that service by its customers, the undersigned.

We frequently experience long waiting times for internet downloads and web page loading. Also, in many instances, we experience internet collision with other users which results in connection refusals and miscellaneous errors resulting in denial of service. Most, if not all of the undersigned are military members serving the central California coast, to include Defense Language Institute students and Naval Postgraduate students who are pursuing advanced degrees relating to our military service. We, along with our families, require fast, dependable internet service in order to meet our military obligations, unlike that which is currently being provided by Verizon Avenue.

Our attempts to resolve these issues with your local customer support agents have gone unanswered and uncared for, usually meeting statements to the effect that there are too many customers competing for too limited capacity for internet service, especially during peak demand. We the undersigned would like a formal answer as to what is being done to resolve this situation, in a timely and acceptable manner.
