A little over a year ago, I met my girlfriend. She lives in Plymouth, Massachusetts, whereas I live in League City, Texas, near Houston, but go to school in Jacksonville, Texas, near Tyler. We started dating almost immediately, and fell deeply in love with one another. She is the love of my life, the reason I wake up in the morning, and she feels the same way. She is the most beautiful girl Ive ever seen, and she feels the same way as I do. The obvious choice would be to get married. The problem? Like I said before, she lives almost all the way across the country from me. She has a job, a family, and many other things there that she cant just up-and-leave. I am in school, and am almost completely done with my degree, but after this, I have to return to my family. We are barely making ends meet as they are, and while I may have the money to fly up there, right now in the financial situation my family is in, they need to borrow what little I have saved up. I dont know when I may have the chance for sure to see her for the first time, but I know what I want, and I know that she means the world to me. So I attempted to marry her online. I found a few websites with something like this, but not a single one is legally binding. I completely understand the risks that a change like the one I am obviously alluding to incurs, but what about those like myself and Elizabeth who have no other option? Help us stay strong together and show how much we really care for each other, and support the two of us by signing this petition. It would aid us in making it, as hard as it is. It would mean The World to both of us.
