En effet, depuis novembre 2002, une norme europйenne (ETSI) permet l'utilisation des canaux de 1 а 13 dans toute l'Europe, dont la France. Nйanmois, Apple France livre toujours son matйriel AirPort limitй а l'utilisation des canaux 10 а 13 seulement.
Devant cette situation injuste, nombre d'utilisateurs Airport rвlent et tentent de faire pression sur Apple pour que ce dernier propose une solution de mise-а-jour. Un rapport de bug a mкme йtй ouvert dans ce sens sur la partie dйveloppeur du site Apple.
