states should cut down on the search of marijuana and should definitely get rid of the three strikes rule. the three strikes rule being that the first time, you get a fine, the second time you get a fine and in some cases jail time, and the third offense is being in prison for life. this is a very extreme measure to try and cut down on the use of marijuana.
