Def Leppard: Nostalgia In The Vain Of Pyromania And Hysteria DVD

To whom it may concern:

We, the loyal fans of Def Leppard, would like to make a request. For years we have been forced to put money in the pockets of bootleggers for rare and unreleased live and studio material of Def Leppard. This occurred because of the very limited live video or audio material from Def Leppard that has been officially released.

We love Def Leppard and are firmly committed to showing our support for them. We request that Def Leppard follow the example of Led Zeppelin and release a rare, live DVD set which shows a chronological history of the band, from the time before they ever signed a contract to the days of selling out arenas around the world in the late 1980s.

We know there must be existing footage that shows this. We want to show you, the band and your record company how much of an influence you have had on our lives by a demonstration of pledged support for such an endeavor. Here is a list of performaces we know were professionally recorded, either audio or video, which we would like to purchase:

The Andy Peebles show, 1979
Jack Murphy Stadium, 1983
Dortmund, Germany, 1983
Backstage footage from In the Round in Your Face
Deleted songs from the official video such as Don't Shoot Shotgun, Tear it Down, Travelin Band, Let it Go, the entire Steve Clark guitar solo.
Any professionally recorded live material from the On Through the Night and High 'N' Dry tours - except Don Kirschner's Rock concert, which was just a repeat of the promos for that album and was not actually live.
A full, professionally shot video of the Pyromania tour - the entire show - uncut
The Mountainview, California show from 1988
Any "in the recording studio" videos (i.e., Armageddon It)
There is a video of Satellite, live, on the Rock of Ages documentary. We would like to see that entire footage.
Some footage of a soccer match with the band from the 1980's.

If you release a DVD with the above items, each member of this petition pledges $50/40/45 to purchase a DVD.

One last request: Many of the members of this petition are particularly fond of the late Steve Clark. We respectfully request that he get equal, positive coverage.
