On behalf of the TV program Aaja Mera Des Vekh Lai and the following undersigned Canadian Citizens, we request Honorable Minister of Citizenship and Immigration to draw their attention to the noted situation:
This is to request the Immigration Minister Jason Kenny to exercise ministerial discretion to deport Harmanjit Kaur Ssroa under the marriage fraud law of Canada.
"Marriages of convenience are not allowed under Canadian Immigration law. It is illegal to be married and simply to immigrate to Canada. Spousal sponsorship is a serious legal commitment".
If a person enters in to a marriage of convenience and comes to Canada, we ask the Honourable minister of public safety Canada to deport the person immediately from Canada.
