Disabled Access in the United Kingdom

Minimum "Disabled Access" in the United Kingdom allows for only the smallest of wheelchairs and does not give access to larger wheelchairs or trolleys. The term "Disabled Access" in advertisements for events, public buildings and accommodation etc can be very misleading, often resulting in a disabled person arriving somewhere, only to find they cannot get in after all. I wish to call on the authorities to raise the official minimum access to a meter - or more. If you agree with my plea, please sign my Petition.
