We, the undersigned, being electors in the Town of Bethany, Connecticut, do hereby petition the Planning & Zoning Commission to disapprove the proposed zoning change establishing an “Open Space Housing District” in any form in Bethany. Instead we want the Commission to uphold and enforce the present zoning regulations regarding housing density. We affirm the necessity for 3-acre zoning for watershed land as essential for safeguarding public health, safety and the rural character of the town.
