We the undersigned believe that skateboarding in the Dorsey Search pool parking lot is just and acceptable. Although this property might seem useless to many, the skateboarders of Dorseys Search know it as a meeting point and skate spot. Recently, the availability of the parking lot for skateboarding has been restricted. Concerned citizens have gone so far to alert the police to the innocent acts of the skateboarders. Although vandalism has occurred, there is no evidence to link it with skateboarders. In fact, skateboarders disapprove of the vandalism, considering it tampers with their skate spot and credibility. Skateboarding is a healthy sport taken up by people who wish to express themselves creatively. If kids decided to bike in an empty parking lot, would you ban biking?
